High School Boys Soccer
Varsity
Boys Soccer Team
Coach: Lito Wagenveld
Teacher at Holland Christian High School
1st year coaching (6th overall)
Coaching, like teaching, is an opportunity to help young people cultivate their skill and passion. I coach because I love the sport, I love teaching, and I love supporting young people in facing and overcoming challenges. Coaching allows me to come alongside my athletes, grow in community with them, and faithfully take on those challenges.
Junior Varsity A
Boys Soccer Team
Coach: Justin Gabriele
Owner at L & M Washers LLC
1st year coaching (11th overall)
I began coaching in 2013, running sports camps while playing with the Chicago Eagles. I coach for the same reason now as I did then, to see kids grow from boys to men, and to see the growth from each player beginning in pre-season until the end of the year, or from freshman year until senior year. I am excited to continue coaching high school soccer, now for an 11th year.
Junior Varsity B
Boys Soccer Team
Coach: Eric Rietveld
Owner of Beeline Greenhouses
6th year coaching (6th overall)
Coaching soccer gives me the opportunity to share my love for the game and my faith, while helping players grow–not just as athletes, but into the men God created them to be.
